About Us
I was born in the United Kingdom of Great Britain, from a Welsh mother and a Scottish father. We emigrated to Buffalo in 1956, then moved to Los Angeles in 1965 and to Seattle in 1982.
I purchased my 1st set of bagpipes and kilt while visiting relatives in Scotland in 2001 after meeting Hamish Moore, a well known bagpipes maker, at a pub

I purchased my 1st set of bagpipes and kilt while visiting relatives in Scotland in 2001 after meeting Hamish Moore, a well known bagpipes maker, at a pub after a few too many beers. I then learned to play with the Greater Seattle Police Pipe Band and the Keith Highlander's Pipes and Drums Band.
Being a member of the FOE (Eagles) and former member of VFW/American Legion and BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse), I have played often for our events.
I typically play for funerals and weddings in King and Snohomish Counties, however I am now RETIRED and will refer you to one of the Keith Highlander Bagpipers who will fulfill your needs for any event.
